<lj:music>Lil Wyte - Acid</lj:music>

I missed my appointment on Wednesday with Dr. McLeod, my therapist. And I got a voicemail from him today, it was just odd. I've had several previous therapists and they never called me when I missed an appointment, so I thought it was pretty cool. I said I didn't want to go again, but maybe I should go back. He is a genuinely nice man and I felt comfortable talking to him. Oh well, we'll see how things are going by my next appointment.

01. What name do you go by? Elizabeth, or Liz for some.

02. What is, and do you live up to the traditional description of your Sign of the Zodiac? Leo, and yeah, I do - Leo is the fifth Sign of the Zodiac. These folks are impossible to miss, since they love being center stage. Making an impression is Job One for Leos, and when you consider their personal magnetism, you see the job is quite easy. Leos are an ambitious lot, and their strength of purpose allows them to accomplish a great deal. The fact that these folks are also creative makes their endeavors fun for them and everyone else. It's quite common to see a Leo on stage or in Hollywood, since these folks never shy away from the limelight. They are also supremely talented and have a flair for the dramatic. Warmth and enthusiasm seems to seep from every Leo pore, making these folks a pleasure to be around. They do love pleasure!

03. What is your job description? Um. I work. Yeah.

04. What do you really do at work? Hang out.

05. What is the best job you have ever had? Why? I’m currently working the only job I’ve ever had, so I’ll go with it, it’s gud ‘cause my momma owns it, so yeah, it’s fun.

06. What is the worst job you have ever had? Again, why? Um, no comment.

07. What parts of the world are in your bloodline? Italian & Irish.

08. Describe a dream or a nightmare that you remember vividly. I ain’t getting into it.

09. What are some of your most prized possessions? My money, biiiitches.

10. What is your earliest memory? HAHA, like I have a memory. It’d be cool I did.

11. What is the first thing that ever had a huge impact on your life? My cat died.

12. Who is one person that changed you, for better or worse, and why? Can’t really say.

13. What is the most worthy thing you have ever purchased? My cell phone.

14. What is the most useless thing you have ever purchased? Half the shit I own.

15. Are you vain? No.

16. Do you believe you have ever experienced a wormhole (directly or indirectly)? Nah, I don’t believe so.

17. What are some of the best things you have ever read? John Lennon – In His Own Write, Kurt Vonnegut – Slaughterhouse-Five & George Orwell – Animal Farm.

18. What makes you cry? Used to be, a lot. Now, not too much.

19. What puts you in a state of awe? Large quantities of drugs.

20. What is the most surreal experience you have ever had on any type of drug? I’ll get back to this in a different entry.*** - the stars are so I remember, haha.

21. Are you competitive? If so, in what? I can be. In certain things that we won’t name.

22. If you could choose your method in which to die, what would it be? Check it, I’ma buy an ounce of cocaine and just snort ‘til I die. Yeah, most def.

23. Do you believe the philosophy that we are all truly alone in our own minds? Somewhat.

24. Are you musically-inclined? If so, in what? If not, what do you wish you had learned, if anything? I love music, but that don’t mean I can play it. When I was 10 or so I asked Santa for a red rock guitar, and I got it, and I never learned to play it, so that was the end of my career in music.

25. List ten random books off of your bookshelf. Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban, Portrait Of A Killer: Jack the Ripper – Case Closed, My Life [Bill Clinton representin’], Poems To Read, Amazon Poetry, The Cancer Poetry Project, A Light In The Attic, Brave New Girl, The Cultural Contradictions of Capitalism, & Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

26. How much faith do you put in Astrology? A good bit.

27. What subjects fascinated you as a child? I don’t even remember.

28. Describe a school-time memory. Shit, playing 4 Square everyday during recess, that was fun.

29. What was your favourite lunch in school? I never really dug school food, I brought my own food.

30. Do you re-read books? If I dig it enough.

31. What makes you nervous? The dark.

32. What are your phobias? The dark.

33. Do you have any siblings? If so, how do you get on? If not, have you ever longed for any? Yeah, older brotha’. We like each other a little more every day.

34. What are some of your favourite films (taste and quality need not apply)? Rocky Horror Picture Show, Blow & Scarface.

Put tha straw up to your nose
take the blow straight to your dome
you passin' out in my front yard
throwin' up on Xanax bars.

<lj:music>Meat Loaf - Paradise By The Dashboard Lights</lj:music>

My life officially rocks, in my opinion at least. I withdrew from Sequoyah and it was definitely one of the best decisions I've made yet. I work full-time at my parents business, I’m making awesome money and I actually like the work I’m doing. I feel like I have a purpose now, when I was going to Sequoyah every day I was pretty unhappy, I wasn’t like incredibly depressed but I’ve just never liked that school. For the first time I feel like I accomplished things at the end of the day. Sequoyah just wasn’t for me, which is fine with me. I found out yesterday that my grandmother, my grandfather, and my dad didn’t complete high school in the traditional sense. My grandmother dropped out at 16 or so, traveled the world, then attended a school for anyone who wanted to finish their high school education but didn’t want to do it in a regular high school. She went on to teach for 30 years or so and she is one of the smartest people I know. My grandfather got drafted…and my dad ran away from home at 17, spent several years doing some crazy stuff – yeah, he did his own thing for a while, I’ve heard some pretty…unique stories - he went to night school, graduated, and went to UGA. Basically, what I’m doing is the norm for my family. I’m looking forward to night school; I’m looking forward to everything that this decision will bring to me. I’m happy, truly content. I love it.

More later, time for dinner –
vegetarian steak
mashed potatoes
& corn
Good, I know.

Radio Broadcaster: Okay, here we go, we got a real pressure cooker going here
Two down, nobody on, no score, bottom of the ninth
There's the windup, and there it is, a line shot up the middle
Look at him go. This boy can really fly! He's rounding first and really
turning it on now, he's not letting up at all, he's gonna try for
second; the ball is bobbled out in center, and here comes the
throw, and what a throw! He's gonna slide in head first, here he
comes, he's out! No, wait, safe-safe at second base, this kid
really makes things happen out there. Batter steps up to the
plate, here's the pitch-he's going, and what a jump he's got
he's trying for third, here's the throw, it's in the dirt-safe at
third! Holy cow, stolen base! He's taking a pretty big lead out
there, almost daring him to try and pick him off. The pitcher
glances over, winds up, and it's bunted, bunted down the third
base line, the suicide squeeze is on! Here he comes, squeeze
play, it's gonna be close, here's the throw
here's the play at the plate holy cow
I think he's gonna make it!

Girl: Stop right there!
I gotta know right now
before we go any further
do you love me?
Will you love me forever?
Do you need me?
Will you never leave me?
Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life?
Will you take me away and will you make me your wife?
Do you love me!?
Will you love me forever!?
Do you need me!?
Will you never leave me!?
Will you make me happy for the rest of my life!?
Will you take me away and will you make me your wife!?
I gotta know right now
Before we go any further
Do you love me!?

Boy: Let me sleep on it
baby, baby let me sleep on it
and I'll give you an answer in the morning
let me sleep on it
baby, baby let me sleep on it
let me sleep on it
baby, baby let me sleep on it
let me sleep on it
baby, baby let me sleep on it
let me sleep on it
and I'll give you an answer in the morning

Girl: What's it gonna be boy?
c'mon I've got all night
what's it gonna be boy?
Yes or no?
What's it gonna be boy
YES OR NO?!

Boy: I couldn't take it any longer
lord I was crazed
and when the feeling came upon me
like a tidal wave
I started swearing to my god and on my mother's grave
that I would love you to the end of time!
So now I'm praying for the end up time
to hurry up and arrive
'cause if I gotta spend another minute with you
I don't think that I can really survive.
I'll never break my promise or forget my vow
but god only knows what I can do right now.
I'm praying for the end of time
it's all that I can do
praying for the end of time
so I can end my time with you!

Boy: It was long ago and it was far away
and it was so much better than it is today.
